Whats a Giclee Print?
'Giclee' pronounced 'Zhee'clay' comes from the French meaning to spray or squirt. They are produced on archival substrates with professional 8-12-color inkjet printers, 1400 to 1800 dpi (dots per inch). Giclee prints are recognized as the most accurate printing technique and are 98% true to the original artwork. The materials and inks used in these prints are Archival and Light-Fastness and meet the highest industry standards for density, color gamut, color graduation, and image sharpness. Unlike digital prints, Giclee prints, under the proper care, can last 100 years or more without fading and appreciate in value.

Care Instructions
To ensure the longevity of the artwork, it is recommended to follow these guidelines:
-
Always handle with clean, washed hands. Any oils from your skin could transfer to the paper and cause blemishes.
-
When matting and framing your print, use acid-free materials. Acid from low-quality materials will transfer to the print and cause yellowing over time.
-
Keep out of direct sunlight. Even though these prints are light-fast and fade resistant, direct sunlight is a powerful thing and could cause unwanted fading.
-
Select quality glass when framing. UV or Museum glass is the optimal choice as it will help filter any harmful rays that could damage your print.
